What is the difference between an original and a compatible cartridge?
There is almost no difference! An original cartridge is manufactured by the same company that made your printer while a compatible is produced by a third party like Cartridge World. Otherwise they are virtually the same!

Why should I buy a compatible cartridge?
Compatible cartridges can save you a lot of money! Compatibles can be up to 75% cheaper then an original.

Is there a down side to refilling printer cartridges?
No, in fact there are a number of benefits, not only are you saving money, the ink and toners we use are specifically formulated to match that of the original cartridge, thus the print quality is guaranteed to be good. There are also significant benefits for the environment too.

After installing refilled ink cartridge, why does my printer say my cartridge is empty?
In most cases, the printer will show that the cartridge is empty or low on ink while using refilled cartridges. This is completely normal and happens because the original cartridge has been reused which the printer cannot acknowledge. The cartridge will still work and last just as long as the original and may simply require that a button be pressed or the ink level warning be ignored.

How will I know when the cartridge is truly low on ink?
When the print quality begins to change (light print, half print, blank print, etc.), that is an indication that it is time to change the cartridge or refill it again.

Are remanufactured toner cartridges inferior to new ones?
Not at all, we not only use the best toners available, we also replace all worn and moving parts in toner cartridges. Each cartridge is then vigorously tested to ensure optimum print performance before it leaves our premises.

How many times can my cartridge be refilled/remanufactured?
Both inkjet and toner cartridges can be refilled/remanufactured several times. We clean, test and guarantee every cartridge to perform as well as any

Does using a remanufactured cartridge affect my printer warranty?
A close read of your printer warranty will reveal that using our cartridges will NOT invalidate it. However, for printerthat is yet to cross the initial warranty we recommend using OEM cartridges in order to avoid the hassle of negotiating with printer manufacturers on warranty claims.

I have not used my inkjet printer for some time and the printouts are missing some of the colours. Is there anything I can do?
You need to perform a head clean/cleaning cycle using the software for your printer, as the printhead in your printer or on your cartridge is blocked. There are a number of ways you can do this depending on the type of printer you are using, please consult your user manual for the correct method, or contact us for further assistance. If the print problems persist please arrange to bring your printer to us for further inspection.
